Starting a subscription takes one click.

Canceling it is a war—and now the system is learning from you.

CANCEL IT! is a dark comedy puzzle game about escaping deliberately confusing fictional subscription services. Navigate misleading menus, remember call-center sequences, calculate hidden charges, optimize limited storage, construct precise cancellation requests, compare contradictory records, and confront an artificial retention system built to keep you subscribed.

C.A.N.C.E.L.

C.A.N.C.E.L. is an artificial antagonist that watches your current run. It profiles the kinds of mistakes you make and selects one of three adaptive final defenses:

  • Memory Decay
  • Micro-Fee Escalation
  • Predictive Routing

Before the final puzzle, you must choose a countermeasure. After reaching the AI core, you decide whether to delete the model or rewrite it to help users find the exit. Your decision changes the ending and the final receipt.

Features

  • Seven fictional subscription cases
  • Seven distinct puzzle mechanics
  • An artificial character that affects mechanics, decisions, and the ending

Generative AI disclosure

OpenAI ChatGPT assisted with programming, debugging, English/Turkish localization, puzzle iteration, writing, and QA planning. The human developer chose the concept, directed each revision, selected and edited the output, repeatedly playtested the game, reported failures, and made all publishing decisions.

C.A.N.C.E.L. is a fictional in-game artificial character. Its behavioral profile is calculated locally from the player's current run. No personal data is transmitted.

The interface and cover are original HTML/CSS compositions. Sound effects are generated procedurally in the browser. No real company, organization, or person is depicted.
